UDC V8 UTES
If you wanted a category full of passion, fun and characters, then V8 UTES is it. This season will see the UTES progress to full MotorSport NZ Championship status which is a sure recipe to lift the bar even further.
The UTES provide a fantastic spectacle, as the Fords battle it out with the Holden on track. Based on the highly successful Australian Series, the UTES bring that unique opportunity for Trans Tasman rivalry and we have seen popular Kiwi Chris Pither lead the charge both across the Tasman and at home in recent years.
New models are being tested now for the coming season, of particular interest for the Holden UTE fan. It always creates great racing action and entertainment to be able to see your showroom new UTE roaring down the front straight of six great circuits and around the streets of the Hamilton 400.
With expectations high for fields to grow in this class, many drivers will be vying for the coveted Championship title. With a mix of experienced drivers and young emerging talent, expect this season to throw up surprising race wins and close competition all the way.
