BNT V8s Championship
INTRODUCING THE NEW GENERATION NZV8 CAR
Welcome to the NEW GENERATION car to contest Motorsport New Zealand's Goldstar V8 Championship.
All new cars in the category are manufactured using the same tubular frame construction, so that only the outer body panels will define the chosen manufacturer - Ford or Holden. The possibilities are endless.
What about a Japanese 'brand'? A Toyota or a Nissan? Perhaps even a Mercedes Benz body shape? This new chassis is future-proofed and will accommodate a wide range of body panel options.
Competing in the new generation NZV8 category means racing in the most successful saloon car category in New Zealand.
What started as production based car racing then developed into the hugely successful BNT V8s, and is now poised to enter a new era of true race car technology and tubular frame construction. Over the years the racing has evolved from modified saloons to the all-new purpose built NZV8 race cars!

Welcome to the official home of the NZV8s - New Zealand's premier touring car category. The BNT V8s are the main anchor for the Premier Race Championship Series run the length of the country so all New Zealanders can have access to a major motorsport event near them each summer.
The 2011/12 season has just been completed with Angus Fogg taking out the BNT V8s championship. The series travelled nationwide and visited Pukekohe Park Raceway south of Auckland (November), Powerbuilt Tools Raceway in Christchurch (December), Teretonga Park in Invercargill (January), Timaru International Motor Raceway (January), Manfeild Circuit near Palmerston North (February), Taupo Motorsport Park (March) and ended with the hugely entertaining non-championship round at the ITM400 street race in Hamilton (April).
Congratulations to our 2011/12 Championship and Series winners
BNT V8s Champion: Angus Fogg, Toyota Racing Series Champion: Nick Cassidy,
Suzuki Swift Sport Cup Champion: AJ Lauder, UDC V8 Utes Champion: Andrew Waite,
